The 2nd window is "The Birth of Jesus."
"And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him the bands of cloth, and laid him in a manger, because there was not place for them in the inn" (Luke 2:7).
La segunda vitral es "El nacimiento de Jesús". "Y ella dio a luz a su primogénito y lo envolvió con las tiras de tela y lo puso en un pesebre, porque no había lugar para ellos en la posada" (Lucas 2,7).
Yesterday we were asked to reflect on what extraordinary things we may have been asked to do, during these quarantine days. Reflecting on this image of the newly born Incarnate Word and the words from scripture, we might ask, "What is being born anew in me these days"? We might be discovering something new about ourselves during this extended "pause" in our lives!
Ayer se nos pidió que reflexionemos sobre qué cosas extraordinarias se nos podría haber pedido que hiciéramos durante estos días de cuarentena. Reflexionando sobre esta imagen del Verbo Encarnado recién nacido y las palabras de las Escrituras, podríamos preguntarnos: "¿Qué está naciendo de nuevo en mí en estos días"? ¡Podríamos estar descubriendo algo nuevo sobre nosotros mismos durante esta "pausa" extendida en nuestras vidas!
