Prophetic Hope.

"This is a subversive act that rejects the bleak status quo of the present and dares to imagine a reality shaped by God's promise rather than human failure."

For us, especially we Sisters, we are called to imagine a reality shaped by God.

How can you, as an individual member of the staff, help us remember that our future as a congregation is shaped by God's promise?

I think I prefer to ask each of you, in your own circumstances: do you believe that your future is shaped by God's promise? The promise is that death never has the last word. Death can be any sort of ending: the end of a relationship; a change in any circumstance; a failure of some sort.

God is with us; God loves us; God promises that your current trials are not the end of the story.

Prophetic Hope is not wishful thinking; it inspires patient endurance, moral courage, and active trust in a future filled with life.
