Young People's Chorus of New York City - Francisco J. Núñez, Founder/Artistic Director
Inspired by his own childhood experience of meeting and socializing with children with the same musical interests but from different cultural and economic backgrounds, Founder and Artistic Director Francisco Núñez created a children’s chorus based on diversity, using music as the unifying force to engage and teach its choristers. By founding YPC, Núñez fulfilled his dream of bringing together children from all walks of life to make beautiful music and friendships, creating new opportunities and a brighter future for thousands of YPC children and their communities.

Inspirado por su propia experiencia de la infancia de reunirse y socializar con niños con los mismos intereses musicales pero de diferentes antecedentes culturales y económicos, el Fundador y Director Artístico Francisco Núñez creó un coro de niños basado en la diversidad, utilizando la música como la fuerza unificadora para involucrar y enseñar su coristas. Al fundar YPC, Núñez cumplió su sueño de reunir a niños de todos los ámbitos de la vida para hacer música hermosa y amistades, creando nuevas oportunidades y un futuro mejor para miles de niños de YPC y sus comunidades.
