"The Lord always remembers. Even in our bad times, God remembers, and this is our hope. This hope does not disappoint; never, never. Idols (wealth, power, success, vanity, health, physical beauty, etc.) always disappoint. They are not real. Here is the reality of hope:
In trusting in the Lord, we become like him. His blessing transforms us into his children who share in his life.
In this God, the living and true God who was born for us, and died that we might have life, we have hope. It is this God - who is not an idol - who never disappoints."
